Since I have begun patrolling world chat, I have noticed a gradual decline in spam (mostly alliance recruitment). I do give warnings for spam; however, i tend to reserve my muting power for more pressing issues such as obscene language or people locked in a heated debate with no chance of concluding any time in the foreseeable future

.
Contrary to what people may think, if I am warning someone I am usually looking out for their interests too. I don't enjoy muting people and people don't enjoy being muted. I have a duty of care to ensure conversations do not get so out of control that accounts are banned and tears are shed

.
Nevertheless, the server 5 chat is fairly tame... most of the time. For those in chat answering questions with me, I am always taking note of your hard work. Moderating the chat would be an agonizing task without support from the non-expert community. I thank you immensely for your contributions.
Lastly, I am patrolling the world chat more often than perceived. I will often linger in the chat without talking just to ensure people do not get cheeky whilst I'm gone
Having said that though, I do believe prevention is better than a cure... so my presence has the potential to quell any questionable behavior without direct action.
I wish you all the best in Haypi Kingdom,
See you in game!
