Let's put the News Center to use, eh?

As we all know our News Centers were used once to display the time until 3.0.

It just sits in my city standing up or setting my birdy, Pauly D, on fire if im on my Android.

So Why Not put it to use and allow players to make announcements there?

The Idea

1. Player and Alliances can post what they wish in the news center, like WC.
A. For a cost of 5 Coins per player or 10 per Alliance, a post can be made
a. Only Vice/leaders can post
B. Experts can, with reason, delete post that are deemed inapropriate
a. No refunds to inappropriate post



I have done, close to no thought/elaboration to this unlike my other plethora of (Amazing/awesome/great) suggestions.

I like it. Buy needs to take more coins. Maybe 25...

I dont know, maybe 10 for a player and 25 for alliance?

I like it, as well as the sad humor. :D

Perhaps it could charge that many coins per day, rather than simply a one-time charge (and each day the coins are spent on it, that news item will be bumped to the top).

Eh I don't really like it.

Alliance ads and such don't really fit under the term "News", and I am sure there would be alot of spam and inappropriate posts being made that experts would have to moderate it like it was WC.

If letters from support would go in the News Tower, I think that would be enough and fulfill what I think they designed it for.

i like the idea there is nothing there at the moment so this idea would be great

I like this idea. It's sort of like when you go to a concert and you can send a text and it appears on the big board or whatever.

I very much like this idea as well, I'd love to see it implemented!
