Experts without any votes?!?

Can anyone tell me how someone can obtain the title expert without a single vote.? I have noticed 2 experts in server 53 that have not had a single person vote for them. How could this be if not favourtisim.

Might be a transfer from another server or they might have spoken with support and they might have seen something they like in the individual

Also, who do you think gets to vote for expert?

I've been playing this game for like 18 months and I've NEVER seen any type of election for an expert.

Perhaps you may mean nominations, which are NOT votes, but merely peoples suggestions to the support team, and obviously aren't necessary for being an expert as 75% of the experts I know have ZERO nominations lmao

taem's right, that's why you see alliances spam their leader's names in nominations but they never end up getting the expert title.

Yep, I have seen many many many experts with 0-2 nominations.

Nominations are more of a way of helping support pick who to bestow expert on.

But yes, nominations are just a way to point support in the right direction but have obviously become useless due to self-nominations and other things that happen on those boards.

Overall, it is your Support member who chooses. Other Experts can contact Support and their votes are very highly valued

look, ive been playing haypi, for a while, and this topic usually can get a little touchy-feely. but the facts are: haypi doesnt really care who you nominate, and they WILL nominate anyone they choose, whether they will be a good expert or not. you might be more inclined to listen to the player you want as expert, but you need to remember, that an expert can really cause your world to come crashing down, if your on their bad side. you might be friends with a player, and then they become expert, and treat you like crap. please understand that they cant treat you any differently than other players, so you can be friends with them, but dont use that to push their limits.

an expert is another word for moderator, or baby-sitter, or police, in haypi. all they are there for, is to make sure you arent cheating, spamming, or causing problems.

when you have kids, you pick who you want as the baby sitter. you dont really listen to the kids, because they dont really know what to look for in a baby-sitter. well, haypi is the parent and the players are the kids. and when haypi administration is not watching the game, they want some people to watch it for them. and just as a parent, they choose who they feel is fit, not you.
