lost troops after update

my alliance had a mine that was being attacked. we sent about 5000 catapults to back up the army at the mine. the opposing army got there first and beat us, and won the mine, however,ur troops never returned and the opposing team ended up with them. i would like someone to look into this for me and let me know what happened. this has kinda screwed us and nowwere having to play catch up.

yes there currently is a glitch or possibly the way it is made that if you dispatch troops to a mine and your troops arrive after the battle then you lose them troops
