How to Shorten the Spam

As I'm sure you've noticed, there is a lot of spam going around the forums. To significantly shorten the length of these spam posts:

1) Go to the User Control Panel
2) Select "Board Preferences"
3) Select "Edit display settings"
4) In the checkbox that says "Display images within posts:" and select the "no" option
5) Save the settings.

Unfortunately this does not improve the loading time of pages with spam on them, however it makes it much easier to find relevant posts on spammed pages.

Obviously the downside of doing this is that all images in players' posts are removed, but hopefully the spam will be dealt with soon! You don't have to do this either, I'm just giving a suggestion if the spam is as annoying to you as it is to me. :)

Ehhh I click the post and wait for a long period of time, when the page refreshes it almost immediately crashes (< and ^ talking about spam posts)so I just click and if it doesn't show up almost immediately like the other posts I click a different link xD

Shade is now aware of the spam, if he wasn't before. :)

Well, it started just a couple days ago, which was after he came back. O_o

Server 80 expert nominations was spammed a couple minutes before Shade came back... I remember pm'ing him about that

Was he the one that removed it there? Because I was pretty sure that that was redgun...

I remember private messaging Shade about it as soon as I saw his post :/ it was an undeserved message though

I have an older computer and iPod, along with slow Internet, so it's hard for me to remove it without crashing the browser. I try but sometimes just can't manage.

Im sure another mod with a faster computer could remove it..
