Can't connect to game after Update V1.7.0

Yesterday night my net was slow and apps were running , and then I thought of just checkin on the lost tower unfortunately it worked fine . Didn't had any trouble logging in. I even saw the new activity you guys made . And then today morning it's back like the game closes while loading . And yeah my iPad is first gen and iOS 5.1.1 .
Are you guys trying to improve the game that it will work on its 5.1.1 ?
Now I closed all apps running and even then it's not workin .
I will let you know if it will work today night or not .
Because for the love of this game I even tried removing all apps and game and installed just this one so that it might work , but it's not . Please do something for the date so it will work on all iOS from 5 and above .

And VICKY please tell the Makers that I am begging them to make this game work for all iOS . :(

Just like booboodog, I have also found that I am usually able to login between 8pm - 12am GMT. During these few hours, I can log in as many times as I want with no problems at all. Outside of these hours, I can't log in at all.

Hope that helps support further troubleshoot and find a resolution to this issue soon.

Thank you for looking into the matter. Today, I was not able to login at all. While I'm not sure if other ios 5.1.1. encounter same issue, this update may have limited access for players with ios v5.1.1.
-Since beginning of update, we can login for brief period, but today, it seemed we can't login at all.

For future reference:

1) Put some 'note' in the App store to inform players 'what version of IOS' you support. Ex. if ios v5.1.1 may not work, put into description to address the issue.

2) Address what 'bugs' were fixed.
-As player, when I saw message: Minor bugs fixed. I have no idea what was fixed at all. And which ever bugs were fixed, will they affect gameplay.

3) Last but least, Make sure 'QA team' done extensive testing before releasing: Ex. Will new feature cause any bug? Has reported bug being fixed...

My version is 7.1.1! Stuck in 80% of log in. Cannot access game! Do u think it's something wrong with device version?

I also have the latest ios version and have not been able to log in for days now. My game goes to 80% then stops.

I still cannot log in, I've only been able to log in once in the past 3 days, and that was a miracle I'm still not sure how I managed.

Please find a solution for this support, or revert the game back to the update before this until a solution can be found, as many players including myself are getting increasingly frustrated by not being able to log in.

I also suggest extending the Christmas Activies once the log-in problem has been rectified, since most players missed out on the the majority of the rewards/activies benefit.

My device is an ipod with 6.1 ios - and I've only been unable to log in for the last 3 days, not since the release of the new update.
