Question

I know that if I was to attack someone of a lower level i would get less prestige. Is there a way to figure out exactly what the difference is?

you dont get less prestige by attacking lower levels. it is based on how many troops you have killed and how many you have lost

Nah, it's all about the amount of troops you kill. 1 infantry is 1 prestige, 1 archer is 2 prestige, 1 cav/horse is 4 prestige and 1 catapult is 10 prestige.

That's what I thought originally, server 13 expert just told me other wise. But thanks for answering.

WRONG!!! if you lose a certain amount of troops (if your 3 levels higher and you lose about athird of wat you are killing, you het nothing

Just to clarify, the lower the level and the higher you are, the more troops it takes to kill to get prestige.

War prestige=A-R*B
A stands for the losing party's loss
B stands for the winning party's loss
R stands for a weighting coefficient. The coefficient is included in calculating battle losses when one party is of much stronger than the other in a battle.

The winning party gains war prestige (>=0), and the losing party loses war prestige (<=0).

Each party's prestige will be adjusted by a coefficient so that the stronger party can not take full advantage of the one-sided battle and the other party won't suffer from sheer defeat. If both parties are of the same level, the coefficient is 1.
