Meanings of phrases

Can some one pls post meanings of things.... Like what does it mean to farm? Port? Starve? If your troops are out, does that mean they r not in your city? I am confused! Tysm!

Farm- attack someone specifically for resources
port/warping- moving your city next to another city to hit a players troops
starve- trying to reduse a players crop to 0 so that there troops come home home from hunt in order to kill the troops.

troops out means the troops are left in your city
