Do we have to harvest our troops? And what should we do if we are sleeping at 6 GMT? I don't want to harvest my troops before the war refuse because everyone could attack them, but in the letters Haypi said to callback our troops.

Well you have a few options:
1. go into refuse war - 24 hour period.
2. set an alarm, then harvest them literally 5 minutes before the merge
3. kill them off

Don't forget, this is to decrease the chance of YOUR troops disappearing

Will support give my troops back if they disappear?

Yes, just send your support a message

send a screen shot of the lost troop message, if it doesnt give you a message, just tell them how many troops you lost.

I would make sure to take a screenshot of ALL your troops before the merge, just in case, that way you can prove you are telling the truth

i would also keep in mind, when 101 was made, no one that i know of lost troops.
