Re: Question about policy...

*Takes fork and spoon."

it worked when I removed the faux-expert, didn't it?

And I'm sorry, like I said, I've taken the calm approach. I mailed Thomas and support. They don't seem to think it's worth more than two looks, and I'm hungry anyway.

*Takes a bite.*

hmm...needs salt...and maybe an apology.

Re: Question about policy...

just remember, foam, the actual ban is up to the staff. the experts just report you. so if the ban was put in place, it was haypi staff decision, not necessarily experts. therefore, when they were removed, your ban should only be removed by the haypi staff who put it in place, which seems to me they wont do anytime soon.

Re: Question about policy...

Thank you, Yodac. I understand that. But what you just said seems to me to be the root of the issue. Which is mainly that haypi staff doesn't look too closely at the material sent to them. Once again, not bashing. Because, as I've said before, if I'm going to be banned, I would think that at least tere would be cause.

But in this case, there wasn't, so why the ban? For a month, no less, only to turn around and remove the expert that banned me due to the number of complaints against him/her.

Which begs the question...if an expert has so many complaints against them, why were they active and "moderating" chat before the merge, but not after?this is very basic stuff here. Banned, by an expert since removed, using old ss, with the whole of S1 behind me. Come on now.

Re: Question about policy...

the fact that they were removed after the merge doesnt help your case. alot of experts, not even affiliated with you, and alot of experts on the same server, including and not limited to, the experts that got you banned, were removed after the merge. good grief, if haypi kept all the experts from before the merge, they would have like 50 to 60 experts on one server! Holy Cow! (15 X 4)

Re: Question about policy...

Yodac Yodac Yodac! Keep up with me bro!

I'm drawing a parallel between the two experts that banned me and what happened as a DIRECT RESULT of my interactions with them! Two experts ban me two times. The first ban, expert one loses his/her title less than a month later.

Expert 2 bans me and loses his/her title less then a month later. Now, you're right, some experts were removed due to space, some for activity, etc etc. But you don't find it the LEAST bit odd that the two most vocal detractors of big bad Foamcups are no longer employed by this game? That's a helluva leap, man.

Re: Question about policy...

I'll make my appearance, why not. First off, that "Expert" should stop giving information out to the public, haypi has been having trouble with dirty people not keeping stuff secret. 2nd, the reports used weren't even used in both bans, I still have screen shots of you talking directly to make with less than positive posts. (Dec 17)

I would say you should be unbanned, but someone who posts comments up on the forums for ones ban doesn't seems like someone that really earns it.

Thanks, the oh so great and fluffy: Gabe12.
"Never give up"

oh, this times are hard, there making us crazy, don't give up on me baby.

You should remain banned solely on the basis of that ridiculous name, Foamcups.

Re: Question about policy...

First off:

lol jlo. Well said.

Second:

Gabe, being as you are a principle player in this, I'll address you on this page directly. You and I both know that this ban was, in your words, unnecessary. We also both know, you more than any other person involved in this, that I tried repeatedly to extend the bridge of peace to you.

Now, we seem to have come to a nice middle ground. We talk most every night. There are small flareups, but usually either an apology or a "no offense" follows them. So if you're going to post here, I'd appreciate it of yo would simply tell the people that read this what you've told me
in private, instead of STILL attempting to tow the company line. Like I've said in many posts, this isn't a bash session, or an anti-game rant, it's simply a topic that I want aired out.

HISSSSSSSSSSSS.... :)

Re: Question about policy...

Wether the ban would be revoked depends on the case severity, your attitude and your behavior after you have been banned. Asking constantly to cancel the ban is not gonna help you at all. Expert title removal has nothing to do with the ban, because ban is made by support after concrete evidence has been collected.

Please start to spot the real reason instead of finding ppl to take the blame. By doing so, your maturity will grow.
