Haypi Adventures Prolgue - second entry MichoMan

The land is a wasteland of death. Civilians fled the kingdom long ago and those who stayed to fight were slaughtered. The king's wife, Carla, was beheaded we didn't surrender our empire. King Jerald, on his knees weeping, pleading with the enemy council for them to stop the terror.
The crystal ball shimmers and the king and fortune teller return to the present.
"my leige, we must prevent this future from befalling us."
"But how?" replied Jerald,
"We need to defend ourselves and our kingdom from the enemy that is sure to come."
"We do not have such resources to defend ourselves sufficiently. Oh, noble fortune teller, what are we to do?" said the king with a look of despair.
"There is rumour of 8 glorious treasures hidden within the depths of the ocean. If we manage to locate these treasures we could use them to protect our land or secure our safety with the strongest nations"
"that's a brilliant idea!" exclaimed the king, "we shall sort out teams to find them at once!"
This is where you come in. Your job is to set out from one of ten ports bordering the kingdom and find as many of these treasures as possible. Act swiftly and effectively as failure to find these will result in the death of those you love an more importantly, the death of the kingdom. Good luck brave soldier and "may the force be with you"
I always wanted to write that in a recruitment letter. Anyway, go now as the survival of our kingdom rests on your strong shoulders!
