new troop ? an archer on a horse ?

everybody wants a new troop , heres my idea
an archer combined with a horse like the archer is rideing it .
and the way it takes resources to build a troop , it should take little resources and 1 archer and 1 cav to build one archer on a horse . archers are slow but since there rideing a horse they should be fast so it would kinda be like a cav with range also it should be slightly slower than 1 cav and have 20 more overload than cav
it should have 5 crop consumption
let me know what you guys think and your add ons

Yeah but there wouldnt be much benefit would it do more damage if it got closer where the cav can strike Or just arch

they have range so there doing damage before they reach them and when they do it would probly be same as cav

I see where your coming from here, this would be cool idea, but your basically paying 5 crop for a sped up archer. you would need a lot of these to do damage and i might as well use regular archers

Great Idea. Look at it like this. If Im attacking someone with my cavalry army then I have to send archers as well to take out their cavs/Archers/infantry. However with this you can take them out without having to send archers so you can get there faster If only Haypi ever implemented stuff that was suggested....

no point, can i have a cat that move quickly as well it could lead to ridiculous combinations. sounds like a bad idea to me im afraid. sorry i cant support this!

It would have to cost a lot... It does give a massive advantage tbh

Why not have a Centaur O.o Mix of Infantry and Cavalry.

its better than just an archer or just a cav . slightly slower than cac but has range like an archer.
cost more resources but you still get more prestige for building an archer and a cav then more prestige for makeing them combined . so you get more prestige

y not pikeman? crap in attack but very good at defending against cavs to negate the speed. or balista same range as cats and quicker but not as destructive. great topic though
