Cav doing zero damage to Cat at close combat range

K here is what happened:

Turn 2
Me: cav forward 744
Me: cat forward killed some of his cat
Him: cat forward killed all my cat.

Turn 3
Me: cav forward 292 (reached his cat but doing no damage)
Him: cat backward 119, killed 1/2 of my cav.

Turn 4
Me: cav forward 86 (still doing no damage)
Him: cat backward 119, killed all of my cav.

So can anyone tell me why my cav reached his cat and doing no damage at all? If such is intended, what's the point of having cav?

Do you have the full report? It's either his traps/turrets that have stopped your cavs from reaching his cats or because he used blockers to halt your cavs such as an inf or an archer.

But take screenshot of your full report and see if you can upload it

I was the defender so the traps are mine, and he has no archer and his inf and cav are all waiting at the baseline only his cat forward 2 turns. I will try to get the screenshot up here.

A catapult moving backward cannot be hit..... Its a trick That experienced players use. You got owned basically by immense tactics lol.

If such there is no point of having cav in war. The logical sequence should be cav get first hit at close combat range then the cat move backward and fire back.

It's not us who make the rules.... Theres a reason for having archers with cavs btw lol
