Refer question

I know the rule about asking for refers, but I had a question. Does that ban people offering something in exchange for a refer. Like treasure, help, res, etc.?

You're still asking for one regardless. Honestly bribery is worse than just asking so, I'd say yes.

I would say that if you want to be referred by someone, you tell them everything they need to know to refer someone and change their name and offer to help them get a nugget, as long as they aren't actually asked but they know how to refer you, chances are pretty high they'll refer you anyway for helping them out and they won't be confused as to where the refer bar is.
