Re: Hunting??

Your hunting result depends on your army size, hunting time, fortune stat, army speed and how long since someone else have hunted in the same oasis.

Your army size, hunting time and army speed directly affect how much money you earn from a hunt.

Your fortune stat determines the likelyhood of your hunting money being converted into a piece of equipment or treasure worth roughly the same value (NPC price, so 5k money hunt have a chance of it turning into a nugget).

The time since someone last hunted in the same oasis determines your success rate of the hunt, somewhere that have been recently hunted seem to have a high chance of giving you a failed hunt.

Sometimes you will get an extraordinary yield from your hunt, I have had 300 cats pulling out a 10k+ hunt over 9 hours, this is very random though and happen rarely.

There are several myth about hunting such as the level of oasis and the type of oasis affect your hunting result, these I am not sure of and I wouldn't mind getting a definite answer from Thomas or a dev.

Re: Hunting??

As the poster above stated speed, fortune, time and whether the oasis has been hunted in recently all effect the results of the hunt. Since speed is a factor in hunting cavalry are often the best choice for hunts. If you want to earn money it's best to hunt for around two hours if you want treasure hunt for 6 or more. Try and pick oases that are far away from others or ones that you think haven't been hunted in recently :)
