Prolonged display bug is ridiculous

You're very likely right, WxWarn. I'll tell you one thing - you can control _when_ you can make an approved app available in the store.

So, had they been waiting for the app to have been approved (while being flagged as NOT FOR SALE), they could have pushed the server maintenance a little bit before (like a day) and then make the client available, instead of pushing the server update like a week ahead or to some unknown timeline as they are now at the mercy of Apple approval timing process which is totally unpredictable. Anyhow...

Very true, this is something they need to do in the future. Meh...

i DO hate that this bug is still going on, but you know what i always think positive.

YOu can actually benefit from it. I will share it to everyone since it works for me, especially in new server. im in s16,27,28,29 and i know how this bug can do miracles to gain prestige...

first of all we know that we are all lvl 1, that means, players doesnt know your true level which u can do alot of baitings...

I use my sub as a bait. I had all lvl 10 turrets and put 100 cats and as a good experience i gain prestige quiet alot..

since we dont know when this bug going to get fixed...lets enjoy the baiting...


hope this post will give you all some fun for the moment since im having fun and ranking up fast coz of it...

What I understand from it is that the server maintenance updated the server-side code, and the current client had some sort of unexpected (or maybe even expected) incompatibility which the updated client compatibilizes.

I see it as like a leap frog game. The server maintenance jumped the code out in front of the client, and now we are just waiting on the client to catch up.

If I have my temporal analysis correctly based on Thomas's comment, then the client update was submitted BEFORE the server maintenance was performed. I may be wrong about this, but it stands to reason that this might be the case.

They tell the truth, we've fix it in next version,waiting for approval now.

You could still roll back the server updates, and could have done within minutes of the bug arising.

How many more weeks do we have to wait for this bug to be fixed? Maybe you could just roll back server updates until the new app version is out, which would enable you to fix the bug within the next hour rather than waiting undefined time for Apple to approve new app ver?

And what about all the crashing bugs on iPhone 3G? Are they ever going to get fixed? And I'm still trying to work out how a server filled with inactives (that's probably all your servers) can lag so much?

With Haypi, the inconvenience seems to be perpetual. The game is permanently broken in some way and in many ways gets even worse with each new release. Saying "Sorry" doesn't cut the mustard any more. Something's got to change pls, maybe new development team or hire a quality assurance manager?

i agreed. there are more glitches discovered daily like skill glitch and stats glitch. haypi should test their update and patches and submit them prior to any maintenance to prevent such thing from happening. glitches and bugs need to be resolved asap to provide level playing field for all and not exploit because they are taking too much time to resolve. it will be very unfair for coins buyer. they should also hire counter hack experts. i personally felt that haypi has lost their focus on making it a great game for all when not prompt on their service. if there is a shortage of manpower, or lack of expertise, they should hire more.
changes to game be it minor or major can wait until various bugs and glitch be fixed and they should conduct pilot test on pilot server for their program.this will tremendously reduced the inconvenience of consumer as we should not be at the receiving end of the inconvenience.
