Expert Nominations

I've read through the Expert Nominations of several servers and they are all the same.
So and So is helpful and nice and blah blah blah.
There should be a better way of nominating people for experts. I think that the current experts and support on each server should be the ones that nominate other experts. If the current experts are doing their job, they should be on enough and in chat enough to see who is actually helping out and such.
Having everyone Post up on the forums is nice, but utimately, seems like a waste of time.

Public nominations don't matter and aren't used. The Experts that are made are made because of another Expert recommending them or support adding them because they can.

Like vayne said... public nominations don't seem to be used that much, they may help them look for qualified players, but support has the final say.

Pretty much all of what Vayne said. The nominations are just there so that support can view community views on certain individuals more or less.

no way! lol syl. they are there to give a mild senes of democrayc, but in essence, it is rubbish. nominations are useless and a waster of tme cos support never even care

I never said that I agreed with the way it's done, just providing information as to why they're there based on support's views (since they are the ones that directly make the experts).

What vayne said is true, but public nominations are helpful in a way. We are sometimes too busy to notice who's expert material and who's not so the nominations from other ppl help us look at the candidates closely to see if they would be good candidates.

I'm glad that Support, Admin, and Other Experts are who choose New Experts because we need a few more in S9.
