Re: THINGS THAT SHOULD BE MUTED

Can I put my input in here?

I can see where both sides are coming from honestly.

There's been many instances in my server, I won't speak for others because I do not know, that the conflict of rules has changed chat.

I realize that "common sense" is used in interpreting rules, just so that there are no loopholes that people can create. But it does make it quite confusing when experts have different expectations of chat.

An example I suppose would be today, when one expert -female- was discussing... her period... Sigh. Another expert was on also
They were playing an "I hate" game and she said something around the terms of "I hate... bloody pads in the girl's bathroom."

(Please feel free to edit if this isn't appropriate)

Anyways, she continued talking about this with another player, details and such, while the second expert told others to "keep it pg" when replying to the female expert's comments. This went on for a while before the second expert asked the female expert to not discuss it further.

How do you go about dealing with this situation? If one expert poses that it's alright, while simultaniously another is warning you over it.. it creates conflict and confusion.

I don't agree with Rees's approach of these problems whatsoever, but it does have a valid meaning.

Re: THINGS THAT SHOULD BE MUTED

Lol tehninja do you know he's being sarcastic?

I agree with some of this. It's haypis decision if they want to mute someone for something or not. But experts are making up their own reasons for muting people, not following any rule at all.

Wait wait. This guy didn't mean any of the things he said?
If that's true then he's just spamming.

Then this thread needs to be locked.

That's because it's not for the public forum, posts there are hidden.

I agree. Threads like this shouldn't be made in the first place if it's a "JOKE".

Re: THINGS THAT SHOULD BE MUTED

Yeah sarcastic posts wouldnt be my way of trying to get my opinion across. . .but the rules and experts arent perfect, we know this. . .but often time it may appear that people get muted for stupid things when in fact their only reason for acting tht way is to get as close to breaking the rules as possible, to annoy/push experts or just cause trouble. . .
Im actually not sure why I took time to write this since the ones that its addressed to are past the point of listening. . .
