Guide on how to beat OEL in PVP
* ok so I've been trying for an hour and my video won't post on forum for some reason just won't load. But basically it's me beating a mino hydra Pegasus and chimera in PVP using this strategy. Sorry for the video not working if anything is unclear/ you have a question feel free to comment.
So I hear a lot of people complain that they can't beat OELs In PVP. Which is fair enough as they are strong (especially Pegasus) but here's a strategy which works well against them and anything else. I recommend using all scroll legends but epics could work as well if they are very well upgraded but realistically you want scroll legends. First off make sure you have moves which don't rely on brute strength as you are going to lose to OEls in that field. Instead try and wait them out so to speak and keep your monster alive longer. I used lethal powder and curse these two work great and take away a percentage of the opponents health each turn. They only last 4 turns I think without healing.
Secondly make sure you have healing moves on your scroll legends like soak and photosynthesis this will allow you to stay alive while curse/ lethal powder take affect. Now in theory you can beat most monsters easily by outlasting them but to make sure you stay alive you want to switch to a monster which has a element advantage over your opponent then wait while the curse takes its toll without taking much damage. That's where shake comes in on the video I used setanic which is useful as it has high def meaning it can stay alive long enough to use shake twice. When you have used it once or twice you can keep switching and always have advantage as if your opponent tries to switch they will become stunned which allows you to have a free shot. That's basically it try and get shake in early then use your curse/ lethal powder until the opponent is dead. As a side note putting foresight on the monsters which use curse will be good as you can evade attacks and stay alive. that's the key to the strategy making it a waiting game instead of who can hit harder. Also wind blast on a fast scroll legend like gryphon will be greatly beneficial as you can cycle through your opponents monsters until you find the one you want to fight.
In the video I use my scroll legends which are far from perfect to say the least they have bad upgrades and moves but it really doesn't matter as scroll legends as a rule have high defence anyway. My opponents monsters are better upgraded and even has a pretty much maxed out Pegasus. Even Pegasus can't escape the curse though. Hope you guys understand the guide and find it useful you can always watch the video below if you need an example.
