My setanic has desert power attack.. And I've only just realised this happens

When some one has Minotaur and they are released first and they have sandstorm ability - Desert ATK activates

Yet when the next monster once again is a desert Mino - it doesn't increase Desert ATK on setanic again... Why not, it's sandstorm reactivating so surely this should work

Mino sandstorm
Setanic gets desert power ATK - defeats sandstorm Mino
They bring out another Mino sandstorm - doesn't increase setanic attack again

I think it's only proc again if Sandstorm were replacing another weather.

Sandstorm Mino- Setanic Desert Power Att proc
Blizzard Fenrir comes after
Another Sandstorm Mino come into battle - Setanic Desert Power proc again.

Nope it simply only gets the desert ATK when sandstorm is casted as a SKILL or if Sandstorm is already up when setanic comes into battle

Probably something to stop you from getting 4 stacks in 2 turns and one shotting everything.

My Leviathan gets a boost every time I cast Rain Prayer, so I think it shouldn't be any different with Sandstorm & Desert-ATK.
My explanation for this would be that a weather Talent does not actually activate when the weather is already the same, just could be programmed this way, or a bug.
However, you should post this in the Bug Section nevertheless, seeing how Rain Prayer does activate Rain Power-MATK.

I have posted about this before from my testing but let me try to explain this simply.

Weather Power talents seem to activate under two circumstances only:

1. The weather power monster comes into play and its weather is already in place on the fiels and the weather power monster has no buff yet (only works the first time).

2. Weather is cast manually ( works every time ).

The only way a weather talent can activate a weather power talent is number 1. The weather talent monster can set up weather before a weather power talent monster comes into play and this is only a onetime activation. This is why gryph rain power can get benefit from chimera rain but not hydra rain.

Bottom line: if u want multiple boosts you gotta manually cast weather.
