Noob Question

Hello,

Sorry for asking this but I don't have Verte or Felicity to try this out. I haven't pvped with anyone who has it and I can't find a clear explanation anywhere in forums.

How does the talent Pressure work exactly? Descriptions says, "When you monster is in combat, other monsters lose 2 extra PPs each time they use a skill". So lets say the enemy has Gryphion and Pewgway combo. Your enemy's Gryphion casts TS, then that specific skill of Gryphion loses 2 extra PPs?

If Pewgway casts Rain, then Gryphion does TS, does Pewgway lose 2 extra PP in Rain and Gryphion lose 2 extra PP in TS? And is the effect always only on the specific skill that was last casted by the enemy?

Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Noob Question

Hi, what you think is correct.

When pressure verte is in combat,
Gryphon use TS, it will activate pressure after the skill. So TS's pp will get deducted by 3 instead of 1. The next turn, gryphon will have 2/5 pp shown in the skill display.
Same goes for any other skill.

Note: pressure will activate even when verte die in the same turn.

Cheers :D

Woah..pressure still activates when verte dies in the same turn? Dang that's a good little info right there

So here's another situation. Let's say you have 1 Pressure Verte and 1 Taunt Pewgway. Your enemy has 1 Pewgway and 1 Gryphion. Enemy Pewgway water jets your pewgway and enemy Gryphion does TS on your pewgway. Neither of the enemy's monsters gets their PP deducted with extra 2 PP??? Is the PP reduction of Pressure solely on the attacks that hit or is targeted at your Verte?

It doesn't matter who is the target of the skill. As long as verte on field, any skill will be deducted 3 pp. Even missed skill and "foresighted" skill wil be affected by pressure as well. Any supplementary (rain prayer, pod, sword dance , etc) will also be affected.

Re: Noob Question

I see...that is certainly very interesting. That's most probably why some people used to rage over how 2 Pressure Vertes (used to) stack hahah
