Server 1 Compensation
Haypi has a pretty good track record when it comes to addressing issues with their games, and has frequently made efforts to compensate players when bugs and mistakes have negatively impacted gameplay. I want to start off by recognizing this and appreciating all the hard work that Haypi puts into their games.
That being said, it is my strong belief that the recent compensation that Haypi offered to Server 1 players is inadequate. The game updates have been fantastic, but they resulted in a persistent lag on Server 1 that has yet to be completely fixed. I'm not sure if Haypi staff fully realize just how much impact this latency issue has had on our gameplay. The lag was severe for weeks on end. There were periods of time when I was unable to even log in for up to 10 hours at a time. The lag would come on unexpectedly and trap players in maps for 30 minutes or an hour without being able to execute their next move. The lag caused players to lose dice, jellies, and potions, and even caused me to personally lose numerous resurrection cards (a precious commodity in this game). Raid bosses were found and then subsequently disappeared. Dozens, if not hundreds, of hours were lost or wasted - hours that could have been spent training monsters, gaining experience and silver in maps, and completing team modes.
I accept that there will always be imperfections in any game, and I am not one to complain about little things. But this is not some little issue, like being disgruntled because a monster talent isn't working perfectly. This is about a major problem that impeded gameplay for a sustained period of time. As players, we have made a substantial commitment to Haypi. It is my hope that Haypi will seriously consider what we all have to say and will give more thought to creating a fair and adequate compensation package for the players of Server 1.
