Upgrading supplementary skills.

So I mailed support about upgrading supplementary skills. They told me that it's a strategy, and wouldn't reveal details which is completely understandable. So I decided to take polish, put on Trunky, and on a whim spend 500k and whatever amount of essences to upgrade it.

It definitely increases matk much more than regular. It also does not seem to be upgradable more than once.

I'm not sure but it seems to be approximately doubling the damage.

Oh yeah, there's a bug, there's no icon that shows up indicating that its matk has been raised.

So it's a 2 stage Stat Increase/Decrease

Put Sword Dance on Electroe with Double Double = Profit :)

Already did this. That is why i am saying why so expensive on another thread. Electroe is my favorite monster at the moment. If only it had a magical skill ill have the supplementary for it upgraded in a jiffy.

Electroe has double double doesn't it? That may be good with sword dance (which he learns naturally anyway) and then upgrade it. Might wanna have a taunt monster to absorb some attacks though. He may not have any matk moves but a S electroe may be useful against certain level with that combo if you can't afford the legendaries and don't have gryphon.

Re: Upgrading supplementary skills.

I'd think throwing an upgraded Molten Core on a Ghost or Ice monster or Meditate on a Psychic monster if you can't afford a PoD might be a good idea. Though I'm hard pressed to consider this a good idea for ladder, I suspect it will only be valuable in Vet or Expert modes when you can't one shot monsters or maaaaaybe in PvP when fighting a monster younare strong against and can afford to take a hit or as a buffer against someone you know is leading with weather or PoD.

I personally believe that the upgraded supplementary moves boost better than PoD. And you can't upgrade molten core nor meditation.

Re: Upgrading supplementary skills.

Anyone know how double double works? Will it be for all monsters in battle or only electroe?

I don't have electroe so not sure. By the sounds of it though it's just electroe that gets effected.

Too bad those two can't be upgraded.

Also, Anger was forgotten and can't be upgraded also.
