Punishment

As stated by the skill description, it says "converts the stats increases of your opponent into your own monster's additional attack power"
Was wondering if you can stack pod dmg this way
For eg. Your monster casts PoD, your opponent cast PoD. You use punishment which adds your opponent's PoD stats boosts to your already PoD stats boosted attack.

Re: Punishment

The description says "If your opponent has stats decreases, yo..."

Does anyone know if it is saying you will or will not receive their stat decreases? Does this only work with stats? Or are talent buffs like Adaptability included?

Re: Punishment

I have the skill and it says if the opponents stat are decreased it will decrease the power of punishment. So cunning and punishment don't work we'll together

Unfortunately, Penetrate is actually not supposed to work on Invalidate. This has been confirmed by support and it was only a bug before - when it was working.

With regards to this, your supposed to use it against a monster with a PoD. If your monster has PoD and you use this, when your monster does not have any stat increases/decreases, only your PoD will boost the damage. It works for stat increases/decreases of your opponent's monster.
Adding Power of Darkness to the skill set of the monster with Punishment will not be a bad idea anyway, as not only is PoD useful to any monster but also because PoD may work as a stalling move for your opponent's monster to cast PoD/stat increaser skills and you can use your Punishment the next turn!

Good luck!

Re: Punishment

Has anyone had any success with this? Does it only work for ghosts? And if so, why would they let me put it on my rhor? It does absolutely nothing and the ai keeps using it over estorm even after adrenaline boosts his atk multiple times.

Re: Punishment

It's a conditional skill. If conditions are not met it does little damage. If conditions are met it does great damage.
