I was told that the system recorded that you get a male gryphion, and next gryphion will be female. It doesn't matter if you have synthesized other mobs in between.

But I never tested it with other synthesis stuck between two targeted synthesis. I got same gender for my elephant, but it was because one of the scrolls are a reward, the scrolls have to come from the same source. In Gryphion's case, it's not a big problem.

This theory is true with my boopie, and three people said, it is true with their gryphion couple. But it's not tested extensively, because we really don't have that many scrolls to synthesize.

I'd recommend, try to change its talent with runes, while saving up more boss essence. And if in two weeks' time, your first gryphion is still a work in progress, make a second one?

I'd make the second one with S mobs too, worst case scenario, you end up with two same gender gryphion, which are grade S and super shoulders themselves. But I think it's unlikely. Three people have reported that they successfully got a couple

I think Rain is a great talent. The primary strengths of Gryphion are its extremely high speed and high attack. I would put STS on your rain Gryphion and use him independently with the need for a water type up front.

I still do not like Gryphion all that much. For a legendary, its defense is way too low at 100 (10 lower than the already fragile epic Rhor).

I think Haypi should increase Gryphion's defense to 120 at least and lower its speed from 190 to 170.

I would take an Adapt Neon over a Gryphion in most scenarios. With Gryphion's lower M Attack, mind-bending is not a good option and iajitsu is pretty underwhelming on it. Neon's attack is only 5 points lower than Gryphion and its M attack and defense stats are much higher than Gryphion.

I'm saving my 200 life essence before making 2nd hippo to see what happens in 4 days when fenrir clock is up. Being trading all my boss essence for life during this event.

Oh and btw some facts about griff.
It will get one shotted by Massive boulder even with POD up. Which is really stupid because all the speed doesn't matter if you can't survive 1 hit with POD up.

With adrenline stacked 3x +pod it will one shot brawny.

You can get eol easily via breaking eggs.

I have underdog power on my Gryphion too. i have POD on it, but even with POD, it gets killed by Brawny, Scythe, and Flight too easily. It does not stand up well against adapt Neon either. I stopped using it in the ladder for that reason.

I think Haypi really needs to increase the defense to at least 120 or 125.

It makes little sense to have legendaries easily killed by epic monsters of the same element.

With the present stats of Gryphion, I would take an adapt Neon over a Gryphion every time.
