How on earth do I complete frozen vet and expert mode

I don't have frozen caverns exp mod yet but I had a trick for normal mode : I started the level, if the blizzard was on, I just left and came back into the level until I get a sunlight

But as I said, I dunno if this trick is available in vet mode.

for Vet mode of Ice. I used two monsters the whole way through no res cards.

First Cygness - Rain Prayer, Switched to Thor and Super thunderstormed my way through it all... For Expert I am working on a Chunky and using Cygness.

ATK and MATK of Pewgway are too low
