MERGE Just Announced!!!!!!!

Wow!!!! Im on 119 which up until recently was super dead and Haypi once again figures out how to drop the ball and bypass our server. What a joke this has become. So does it take zero activity to merge, is that the criteria? But really what good does that do to merge those dead servers into another dead server. I know, let's open up a new server instead and watch it die quickly. One day you guys will figure out that a successful business takes atleast a little customer satisfaction to take place.

server been open for a year 3 months and not once merge other servers have merge twice within that time span.
once again some 15 yo posting like he knows what's up with a server he ain't on.

Due to the fact that inactive, low-level accounts are erased during merges, we can only perform merges when all active accounts can fit on the new server.

We have recently started a push for server merges and set stricter merge restrictions. Several other servers are expecting a merge letter over the next few weeks.

Haypi can only perform one server merge at a time. Your server (93, I believe?) has not been forgotten, but the least-active servers have top priority. I cannot give out a merge date for your server because the date is not yet set in stone.

First and foremost, I would like to say this is the best, most complete message that has EVER been posted about merges. No, it is not complete, or in my opinion the "right" way to go about things, but at least it is here! And for that I want to extend a great amount of satisfaction.

Now, about the message specifically. The current system which erases accounts is what I would consider the "right" way to do this. But you definitely CAN fit 4 servers onto 1 immediately. It just doesn't have the wide open "boonies" section of the map. A sacrifice I almost guarantee everybody on a server is willing to make to rejuvenate chat and map.

Secondly, the system accounts for players simply logging in. Now I will reference s119. I do not play here--I have not for over a year. But every once in a while I do log in and try to chat. It has been dead for a year now. Completely. I log in about once a week and I think maybe 5 times in the last year has there been chat on WC before I said something myself. The map is dead. Alli armies are "large" when they hit 200k cats. This is not the kind of server you want. People still log in, but because they log in and don't play they will never receive a merge? Never get to rejuvenate their server? That does not seem fair at all to me. The members of s119 have been begging for a merge for a long time. They love the game, they are dedicated to it and to you, but they aren't actively playing because, simply put, there's nothing to play for. I am ranked 9 on my server (s125) and would be ranked 2nd on s119 despite the fact that it has been open much longer. The top 10 never moves in pp. The server is DEAD. This is the kind of server you need to respect and merge before it is too late and before they all delete the app.


I hope that Haypi continues to merge servers at a much faster rate as the players deserve to play a game that is active and fun, not wait around for remnants of when it was fun.

Uh. 119 isn't as old as the servers posted. Getting your server merged with this would be a mess. What rank are you on 119? Expect to drop about 300 if you merge with these servers. These servers are the very first ones. You probably don't want to be a part of this merge. Cool your jets. When it's time to merge, you'll merge, and likely with servers that aren't already over 3 years old.

Hmm you really have no idea what you're talking about do you? First off all, it is these server's third merge while s119 is asking for a second merge so the fact that it's older doesn't really pertain. Secondly, a server's pp rank has just as much (or more) to do with the server's activity than how old it is. s125 is much older than s119 but our top 20 is all ranked above number 2 on s119 (the top 2 on s125 are over 10mil above number 1 on s119). S97 which just merged for the first time recently has a number one that is ranked above number one on s125. Finally s119 is about 2 and a half years old so it's not even all that far from your "3 years" mark.

Interesting debate going on... but I would like to point out one thing?
For those of us that have been here from the start, before the last merge, and gone through getting used to s119 and seeing it dying after our other server dying? Then we wait and beg and complain and plead for help with none coming until now? I don't know how many people I speak for but rank doesn't mean anything at the moment. I just want to see an active server again. Res that costs more than 1. Find a hit. Ya know? I never stopped playing. Our alliance is always full and one of the top ranked. But forget about finding more than one or two people to talk to

Don't forget s96. I've been playing there for a year at least and since then server never was merged.well first time it wasn't necessary, it was alive server but for last months its just DEAD. Merge us please [s96]
