Re: PoD's Monster Collection & Explaination

Do you want to counter enemy mobs or not? I think it's mostly up to that.. I'd give some recommendations on the reasons why they should/shouldn't get PoD.. But what i'm suggeting is that instead of doing a counter, create a team that synergizes really well on ladder or PvP..
_______________________________________________________________

Monster: Neon
Talent: Adaptability
Item: Winged Boots
Skill: PoD, Thunderstorm, Super Thunderstorm, Mind-Bending

Notes: PoD enables this Neon build to unleash massive damage, and with the current trend of Water-Electric combos (at least w/in my server), I'd be able to use their weather skills to my advantage.. A fully set up Neon (Adaptability-Rain Prayer-PoD-Super Thunderstorm) can OHKO PoD-casted S Vertedeath..
_______________________________________________________________

Monster: Scythe
Talent: Resurrect
Item: Iron Shield / Healing Potion
Skill: Sandstorm, Self-Sacrifice/Martyrdom, Massive Boulder, Boulder

Notes: PoD is good on almost any monsters, but there are other monsters that would benefit from it more than Scythe. This build is already sufficient enough to take-out any PoD-casted Electric monsters in two turns (Sandstorm-Massive Boulder) inclusive of the end of turn damage dealt. Resurrect-Healing Potion combo is pesky on PvP and will definitely frustrate any enemies aside from the increased dodge rate received during Sandstorm.
_______________________________________________________________

Monster: Cygness
Talent: Adaptability
Item: Winged Boots / Iron Shield
Skill: PoD, Rain Prayer, Water Torrent 2x or Water Torrent & Water Bombs

Notes: Same as Neon, this build can OHKO PoD-casted S Vertedeath once fully set up. Though the turn delay may be risky and cost you the game this build enables you to deal the most damage out of any Cygness builds. A tandem with the above Neon will definitely result in a fast game, killing your enemy's deck of four in no time!

_______________________________________________________________

Monster: Cygness
Talent: SPD Boost
Item: Iron Shield
Skill: PoD, Rain Prayer, Water Torrent, Soak

Notes: This Cygness build specializes in providing support and surviving your enemy's first attack. With Cygness' low SPD / DEF and vulnerability on Electric attacks it is constantly in danger dying on the 1st turn. With the current trend of Water-Electric monsters there is a good chance of surviving the first round as most monsters w/ weather skills shall pull it off first in ladder and most of the time players do the same in PvP.
_______________________________________________________________

Monster: Draconius
Talent: Adaptability
Item: Winged Boots / Sharp Claw
Skill: Celestial Prayer, Switch Hit, Super Firebomb, Firebomb

Notes: Though Draconius may benefit as well w/ PoD, given that you have only one left I'd suggest you defer giving it to this monster. On ladder, this monster should come in after Scythe as Super Firebomb also benefits from Sandstorm. If you don't have any Grass-type monster you may opt to change Celestial Prayer to either PoD / Cunning / Fireblast as well.
_______________________________________________________________

Monster: Chunky
Talent: Unbending
Item: Iron Shield
Skill: Blizzard, PoD, Cunning, Aurora Borealis / Chill

Notes: This build aims for prolonged fights w/ the combination of increased defense, high HP and dodge rate this, Chunky can take down both an S Vertedeath (w/ Unbending, Cunning shall be ineffective) and Felicity. Blizzard would give you a bit more chance to withstand against Fire-type monsters though dodge rate maybe unreliable, the end of turn damage would be greater.

What about a S Rhor with POD? I just got POD today and The team I use is.

S Rhor - adrenaline, S Flight- tech 2, S Scythe - armor 2, C Ignightmare - flame body or S Lupa - Evade.

Not sure who to give POD too. Help? I dont have Verte yet. working on my monthly score still.

Personally, I'd suggest giving it to either Flight or Rhor.. can you provide the moveset of each monster?

Could you elaborate a little on the super fire bomb benefits from sandstorm? Will it negate the Atk debuff like celestial prayer?

Yes, ATK de-buff shall be negated though ATK increase will be replaced w/ dodge increase

Yup! That's a good choice :) if you have Healing skills (Soak/Photosynthesis) teach it to flight and remove Fireblast..

Wih regards to Rhor if you still want to give him a PoD, get Thunderstorm or Mind-Bending as well.. Thunderstorm to be used if Rain Prayer is not casted to avoid stun debuff or Mind-Bending for versatility against monsters Rhor is weK against..
