Alliance Management.

This is my first time posting a suggestion so please forgive me if it's a little unorthodox.

Say you join an Alliance. You get to know the people, you donate your way to the top, even become a Vice for your hard work and efforts. You than hear a rumor that your leader might be trying to sell his alliance, something a lot of people put hard work into. Maybe he doesn't want to ben in an alliance, maybe he's bored, who knows. My point is maybe you can make a way for the all the vices put together to either take command and nominate another leader, or put the leader out entirely. Now mind you I said "all" vices, so there's little chance of abuse. Think about it. There's got to be something that can be done to prevent future great alliances from crashing.

Re: Alliance Management.

If the leader of an alliance asks support, support is able to change the leadership of the alliance to another member (most likely a vice). Support is ignoring my request to change the leadership of my alliance from one of my accounts to the other, possibly because theu dont think its a good enough reason. The fact that your leader wants to sell his account is a different problem. If vices can overthrow a leader, that may create distrust and cause a leader no to select any vices.

Re: Alliance Management.

Biggest problem i find is managing my people, would be nice to see last active date in alliance ranking so I can remove non active members.

Re: Alliance Management.

You're right Tim, that would make a leader afraid of promoting Vice leaders. Than again, a leader afraid of having vices to help spread responsibility and control is unfit to lead in the first place. That is however, just my opinion.

Re: Alliance Management.

Bw1, your post is unrelated to my suggestion. My advice for you would be to letter your members you feel are not being active enough, and encourage them. In doing so you are not only inspiring communication amongst your crew, but also teamwork.

Re: Alliance Management.

What if there is an inactive vice? What if they just don't like something he did, or wants to do? Big issues with this... I understand where you are coming from and it is a creative idea, but with this vices who don't care could disband the alliance? That's basically how it is. They could bribe others to support them in making them leader, overthrow the current one, and disband it instead of leaving if they didn't like they way the leader was treating them. How is that fair?

Hahaha mutinies, would make the game much more interesting if abuse occurred. I'd like it that way over the intended use, it is possible to letter support to change ally leader it's happened before even when people are active.

Re: Alliance Management.

I don't think there's a leader out there, who would allow an inactive vice to stay as vice leader, good point though. As for the choices a leader would make that a certain vice might be against.. Like I said before it would need to take all vice votes to possibly temporarily assume command for a time so they may come up with a solution to their current situation. And by command I mainly mean the power to disband alliance, power outside of that, vices can already do except promote other vices. Striker, not only would it make game play more interesting, but more fair. More fair not only for the vices, but for the members as well.

Re: Alliance Management.

My alliance right now has an inactive vice due to the fact that they said they would come back and are number 1 contributor.

Re: Alliance Management.

Than that's a vice worth keeping don't you agree? Not all aspects of the game are without risk. Example A: High contributing vice taking a vacation. Example B: You attack somebody with troops out who just happens to be online with a larger army out hunting. It would be unfortunate for a vice to be inactive at a time when a vice is truly needed. In a situation like that, I would promote a temporary vice for the duration of the primaries absence. What if a leader were to be hacked? That would devastate a high ranking alliance.
