Balls dropped with abilities?

When you get combos you can get the numerous power ups that are available Ex.All balls in a row are destroyed;Vertical.

I don't know whether this is a 100% good idea but why not have some of the balls drop with power ups already linked to them?

They should not be very common, maybe 1 per 4,000 points or something.

What makes it difficult to move on and allows people to deserve to move on is the fact that they have to earn their power ups. If a rainbow ball just dropped in when I was close to losing, it would be rather unfair and give me a chance I didn't deserve.
