ALLIANCE TAB

Well, i'm bored so figured i'd briefly talk about the new alliance tab features.

Member Ranking - here you can see how many contribution points each member of the alliance has, as well as where your rank is among the others in the alliance based on contribution points.

Announcement - here you can read the alliance intro that a vice or leader has written. For some alliances this is blank, others it may have info like alliance allies and enemies, and another common one is what the name stands for and what the motto of the alliance is.

Alliance Events - this tab is split into 3 sections. 3 stars, 2 stars, and 1 star.

3 star section - in this section you can view when your alliance has occupied a mine, you can also see who has donated coins to the alliance.

2 star section - in this section you can view who has donated any amoint of resources or money.

1 star section - in this section it shows any member who gets accepted to the alliance, any member who quits the alliance, any member that gets kicked out of the alliance, and any member that gets demoted from vice to member or promoted from member to vice.

Invite Friends - here you can send a message via email or by choosing a contact on your device inviting them to join the game.

Alliance Management - when you click this, you have a list of options.

For leaders and vices, you can access any of the following:

Send Alliance Letter - this is where you can write a letter that will be sent to each member of the alliance automatically.

Unapproved Members - here you can view anyone who has requested to join your alliance and have the option to accept or decline them.

Modify Alliance Intro - here you can edit/change the message that pops up when "announcement" is clicked.

Member List - here you can view each member of the alliance and see who's online and who's not, you can also see who's leader, vice leader, and regular members. (For leaders only, in this tab you can also premote and demote members.)

Daily Alliance Gift - here you can collect a daily gift for your alliance which is usually a fair amount of each resource. You can collect this after 12 hours of occupying a mine, or at 2:00:00 GMT if you don't have a mine.

Alliance Upgrade - here you can see if you meet the requirements to upgrade your alliance, you can also see your current max population, your population output, your max warehouse limit, and also all the info for the next level you can upgrade to.

Quit Alliance - if you click this a confirmation notice will pop up asking if your sure you want to quit. If you click yes you'll het a comfirmation letter of quitting and a pop up message. (For leaders only, instead of "quit alliance" yours says "dismiss alliance." to do this you must have 0 members in your alliance and if you confirm you want to, you'll lose any donations, contribution points, and troops built within the alliance.)

Members can only access the member list, the upgrade alliance tab, and the quit alliance button.

Military - this can only be viewed by vices and leaders, and when clicked, the screen will show each troop type along with a train button, this is where vices and leaders can train troops for their alliance using donated resources.

Mine - this can be viewed by anyone, when clicked it will take you to the mine map.

Buy Resource - this is for leaders and vices only. Here leaders and vices can use donated coins to buy wood, iron, stone, crop, or gold.

Market - this is for leaders and vices only. Here leaders and vices can use donated gold to buy resources from the server market.

Donation - this can be viewed by anyone. Here your given the option to donate your resources in your city, money, or coins to the allliance.

TROOPS IN MINE INFO

Instead of troops regenerating over a period of time like forts, after each attack on a mine, the mine gets a different amount of troops. So for example, if you attack a level 2 mine with 1 inf the troops may be 25k/7k/18k/2.5k, then if you attack the same mine again right after, the troops may be 22k/6.4k/21k/2.3k.

HOW TO GET CONTRIBUTION POINTS

You get contribution points by donating resources, money, and/or coins to your alliance.

For each coin you donate you get 1k contribution points.
So for example, donating 10 coins=10k contribution points.

For every 10 money you donate you get 1 contribution point.
So for example, donating 1000 money=100 contribution points.

For resources, the formula is a little more complex. The market
price determines how many contribution points you get.

1000 resources = market price*100(point) (Donate at least 1000 resources, and only the multiple of 1000 resources can be donated)

So for example, donating 100000 crop=3000 donation points.
That is if the market price at the time is .03

WHY DO I NEED CONTRIBUTION POINTS

Not only do you need contribution points to gain honor points, they also help your alliance army become stronger by your donations, and you can get bragging rights on your contribution rank.
Contribution rank within your alliance is important. The higher your contribution rank is, the more honor points you'll get per hour when your alliance occupies a mine.

HOW TO GET HONOR POINTS

You get honor points hourly when your alliance occupies a mine. The amount of honor points you get per hour is dependent upon your contribution rank (which can be found in alliance tab). The better ranked you are in your alliance based on contribution points, the more honor you'll get per hour.

WHAT DO HONOR POINTS GIVE YOU

When you reach a certain amount of honor points, you'll get a medal in chat.
For example, when you reach 15k honor points, each time you post something in chat, a silver medal with a 1 will be next to your name.

1st medal requires 15k honor
2nd medal requires 55k honor
3rd medal requires 160k honor
4th medal requires 350k honor
5th medal requires 800k honor

LEADERS AND VICE LEADERS VS REGULAR MEMBERS

Leaders can - resign an occupied mine and dismiss alliance, demote vices and promote members to vice

Leaders and Vice Leaders can - attack a mine, command battles, build troops, modify announcement, accept and delete members, callback troops from occupied mine and send troops to an occupied mine, buy resources off the market, use alliance coins, collect alliance daily gift, upgrade alliance

Leaders, Vice Leaders, and Regular Members can - donate, invite friends, spectate battles

ALLIANCE WAR COMMANDING

If the alliance attacks a mine, the attacker is the commander, and only vice leaders and leaders are allowed to send the attack and command, regular members are only able to spectate.

Any player in the alliance is allowed to command when defending an attack.
If a vice and a leader hit command at the same time, neither of them are catorgerized as the "commander" yet. To be the commander for the rest of the battle as a leader or vice, you must complete an action with one of your troops. If neither a vice nor leader does this, an alliance member can command the war, until the war is over or until a vice or leader takes over (which can happen anytime).
When your mine is attacked by another alliance, in the actions tab it won't show their troop numbers. Be sure to check the alliance out before making the decision to defend or not.

Alliancce War Prestige

In battle against another alliance, the prestige gained from each troop is:
1 cat = 1 prestige
1 archer = .2 prestige
1 cav = .4 prestige
1 inf = .1 prestige

So for example, and alliance attacks another alliance. The defending alliance has 20k/40k/10k/30k and that attacking alliance has 1k/25k/0/50k, which would be 50000 total prestige if the attacking alliance took no losses. But if they did, which is likely, they would've lost 15k cats wwith the right commanding, leaving them at gaining 35000 prestige

BENEFIT OF UPGRADING ALLIANCE

Not only can you hold more resources to build with and more crop to feed your troops, but you can also build more troops at a time. It may take a while to reach each requirement, but it's well worth it, and will be needed with bigger armies.

ARMY BUILD TROOP TIMES

Infantry - 1 infantry = 11 seconds
Cavalry - 1 cavalry = 26 seconds
Archer - 1 archer = 18 seconds
Catapult - 1 catapult = 35 seconds

ATTACKING AND DEFENDING MINES

Attacking an unoccupied mine:
Remember that since both you and the unoccupied mine troops have the same speed, defender gets to attack first, so you'll take losses. Meat shielding is not an option when attacking mines. All march times to a mine take 15 minutes no matter what troops you send. To attack an unoccupied mine you can't have a mine already, and you can't attack more than one mine at a time.

Attacking an occupied mine:
Again remember that both you and defender have base stats so defender attacks first. Be sure that you'll have enough troops to kill them even though they have first attack advantage. To attack an occupied mine, you can't have a mine already and you can't be attacking a seperate mine at the same time.

Defending your mine:
Keep in mind that now you have the first attack advantage as a defender. Here's some tips on protecting your mine:
1) NEVER leave troops in the mine when a vice or leader is not on, if you leave them in there with no commander they're at high risk of being easily wiped
2) If you get attacked by an alliamce, look them up invthe ranks, scout the leader on the map and determine if their alliance prestige is enough to be worried. If you think your troops are at risk, call them back. If you can take the attackers army, but you realise it when you go to command, then send ur army back at them right when the wars over, giving them no time to send their army or to resign the mine. If you think you can take their army, leave your troops in the mine and go to war.

KEEPING 100% PRESTIGE PRODUCTION FROM MINE

This is where friends come into play. A good trick if your mine cuts to half prestige production is to have a friend create an alliance, steal ur mine, then u steal it back. Since theirs no time limit that the mine must be unoxcupied for it to be restored, once you take it back it'll be a brand new mine.

F.A.Q

What happens if i quit an alliance?
When you quit, you'll keep all your honor points, but you won't get any donations back and you'll lose all your contribution points.

What are the medals for gained by honor points?
Bragging rights and to style your name..;)

Whats the point of alliance wars?
To enhance gameplay overall by creating a new aspect to the game and to give more reason for an alliance to work together. It shows who is the most loyal to the alliance and requires teamwork.

How do alliances keep over 100k cats fed?
Well, if the alliances did it legitly, they'd have enough prestige to upgrade a few times making it to where they can hold more crop at a time, leaving them bigger feeding windows. From what I've seen also, the allliances that got up to 100k+ cats the quickest were the alliances that used tons of coins, so they could use coins for emergency crop if needed or use the donated money to buy crops. But i know my top alliance in s70 starves about 2 times a day, but they can rebuild easily.

An alliance attacked our alliance, we were the defender, but they beat us no losses, how'd they do this?
Speed advantage is given to the defender only when they're forwarding in range of other troops. For example, if you both forward cats for a few rounds then get in range but you wait your cats, the attacker then gets speed advantage if they continue to move forward. Same goes as if you were to back up your cats, or troops.

Re: Alliance wars...idk what else to say lol

Just so you know, members can only command defending battles

If an alliance attacks a mine then that person is the commander, not whoever sends first command

I think

I didn't read the entire guide, as of this post, but i noticed you only put the HP gained by the top 20 ranked members when the top 40 members receive some HP/hr.

you said: Leaders and Vice Leaders can - attack a mine, command battles, build troops, modify announcement, accept and delete members, callback troops from occupied mine and send troops to an occupied mine, buy resources off the market, use alliance coins, collect alliance daily gift, upgrade alliance

I feel that you should say Vice leaders can... and add that info into the section in which you spoke about what the Leaders can do (igonore my punctuation capitalization this is a quick typing)

next...

Alliance Upgrade - Here Vice-Leaders and the Leader can upgrade the Alliance's level, train troops, recall and dispatch troops. Members, Leaders and Vices can view the Contribuiton Rankings, the Members List, Alliance Events, Alliance Announcements, the Alliance Troops not allocated to a controlled mine, Alliance Resources (Resources, Coins, Money, Crop consumption, and Peoples), invite friends and donate to the Alliance Resources.

Sorry, i only skimmed this so i didnt pick up all of the little details and grammar mistakes. LOL! I hope this helps!
