Attack/Dispatch to mine

I am wondering how it is possible to dispatch troops to a mine after it is under attack. It is supposed to take 15 minutes to attack, and it takes 15 minutes to dispatch, and presumably you can't dispatch (unless you are lucky) before you are notified that you are under attack.

I have been on the defending side, and was fortunate not to lose my whole army to the bug, but I definitely did not get there in time. However, I have also been on the attacking side, and my scouting report said one thing, but the army I faced was much larger, and I confirmed with them that they were able to dispatch after the attack started.

Re: Attack/Dispatch to mine

They dispatched before the attack landed

If you are under attack you can't dispatch in time, so you need to dispatch before the attack

Re: Attack/Dispatch to mine

Hi Nick reading the post and unless one is lieing the post said that the person attacking had already initiated the attack and the defender then sent the force to defend. however the defender managed to get to the mine in time for the attack.

could this be a glicth?

This isn't possible, if you dispatch after the attack is sent the troops won't make it in time, and they will all die.

Re: Attack/Dispatch to mine

i was attacked in the same style "risingstars" sent about 500 infanty i defended them but the match still took another 15 min and i couldn't figure out why so i waited only to see thousands more show up. i was wiped.

later i tried it while i was being attacked (noticed attack at 14:10ish dispatched troops by 13:50ish) and failed miserably losing around 8000 + total but i really only lost 500ish in the report but the other 7500+ were being dispatched and they just all died? with no chance to pay the 20 coins to recall them.

Re: Attack/Dispatch to mine

I should clarify; I do not know that the dispatch happened after my attack commenced. I know that I scouted just before I initiated the attack and the report said 0-1000 for all troops, but when I got there, they had 1000-10000 of everything. The alliance leader said they dispatched troops, so the original scouting report was correct, but out of date by the time I got to the mine.

So, was I just really unlucky, and they decided to dispatch more troops to the mine for no reason, and it just happened to happen between the time I scouted the mine and made the attack? Or could there be a server lag which allowed them to dispatch after getting the attack notification and still arrive in time?

They don't die -- the glitch sends them to the opponent for FREE. So you lose your troops and the opponent gains all of them.

They are constantly dispatching and recalling their army, so it looks like they have 0-1000 troops all the time, but in reality they are dispatching their army to their mine and when you attack their army will get their before your attack does, and since you cant callback you are stuck with fighting against them. Its a strategy that when used effectively can bring in a TON of prestige (my alliance got 2.5k a few days ago doing this)
