Re: Haypi has ruined this game

I agree. The new version is not as fun as the previous.

Besides there is no chance for averages players to get free coins, people will be dropping out immediately.

Plus the fact that warping is still available, people willing to pay real money for coins can decimate the average player.

Basically, if you are a higher level, you can beat up anyone below you.

Kind of stupid.

I was on the up for this game, but now, I feel that I am about to quit. Sorry really, because it can be fun.

It is not a fair game if you can pay for coins and take advantage. This is true for the normal play as well as for the alliance play.

An alliance can't compete with another alliance who uses coins just like a player can't compete with another player who uses coins.

Oh well. Anyone know of another good game? Haypi is about through.

Biggest problem on server 113 is they took the free coins away. Many people play this game for free and now can't compete with players who pay. Bring it back.

Since you are so ignorant with WHY the free coins were taken away. You shouldn't say anything.

Apple banned tapjoy because of some sketchy business or something, but bottomline, it's APPLE that you should blame for not being able to have free coins anymore. Not haypi

Re: Haypi has ruined this game

lol nick youre right of course.

but the funny thing is that the free coins were only made available for a very short amount of time (im geussing it was maybe december of 2010 when they introduced it).

People always complained about the fact that coin users had an advantage, and maybe theyre right....but the truth of the matter is, haypi is and always has been (minus a few short weeks when they charged for the game but included a coin bonus equivalent to the price) a FREE game. what with the workload required for such a popular and heavily used game, how else could haypi make their money but to sell coins, and this is a standard in soooo many free games. but essentially, coins are not necessary for anything in this game...anything at all.... and i know more players than i can count who have been competetive AND high ranked without ever using a SINGLE coin. so it only goes to show that people are going to be predisposed to complain about anything they dont like or think is unfair, regardless of whether or not they have the ability to be as good as they think coins make people.

and if i can impart any inkling of wisdom on anyone, its that MONEY TALKS and, well....thats just the way the world is, and by my reckoning always has been since the end of the neolithic era, when trade was introduced to humankind.

and yes, nick, to this day i cant fathom why haypi seems to be constantly understaffed, or why it seems like they dont put the dollars of their paying customers to better use, but hey, the game still thrives and is hugely popular throughout the world regardless of what you hear people say on these forums about quitting. most of those who threaten to quit actually dont lol

Taem - Being Tani's girlfriend I think you'll find Ma'am is more appropriate than Sir.

And like it or not, you are these days, a genuine suck up. The brown nose comment was made as Tani & I were discussing our disappointment in your change of heart, you used to be very critical analytical and would bounce ideas & comments with Tani all the time, now we see posts saying classic Haypi spiel "Please be patient" or "haypi are doing their best" etc. It's sure, interesting, but I'm sad that you changed - When I played s13 I'd read your posts and agree or smile, nowadays it's more sighs and headshakes.

However good luck with Haypi, and using your wanna-mod attitude to try and control the hectic forums, I hope your motives for such a change proove fruitful. :)

If the "real" Taem returns let us know, I'd be eager to read those posts again should I ever fancy the self torture of playing again or just a laugh. I can tell by some of your contradictory posts he's still in there, hope you come back soon. :)

hahaha!

well maybe im becoming soft in my old age, or perhaps ive just given up on the hopeless battle. either way, it pains me greatly to have lost your respect.

one thing i can assure you of, however, is i will never suck up to haypi, theyve screwed me too many times, nor do i have any desire to be a mod, working for free while they take more of my dollars.

Re: Haypi has ruined this game

People say that coin buyers have an unfair advantage.Haypi Kingdom are short staffed,Why not let people work for haypi in exchange for a fair amount of coins so they have a descent game play and have no more excuses for unfair advantages.

Sincerely,

Re: Haypi has ruined this game

I fail to understand what is so awful about spending money on a game that is fun and keeps you occupied. It's called "having an entertainment budget". It's the same as spending money on Netflix, cable, movie tickets, video games, or an Xbox Live subscription. Why is it so unreasonable to give back a little? They don't make this game for free, the server doesn't maintain itself, the employees of Haypi aren't volunteers, and we aren't bombarded by advertisements all day. SOMEONE has to pay for all this. I get so tired of the attitude that Haypi is obligated to make this game free and equal for everyone. It's a business. And if you're here reading the forums you obviously enjoy, or have enjoyed at one point, the product that they provide us for FREE. It's not out of the goodness of their hearts - people have kids to feed and homes to pay for. So why not give back a little?
