Under attack

Hi. I have one question; I got notification in status bar on my phone, that I'm under attack, but when I got in to game, there was no notification about attack, or some indicator of time left till attack. I just got after couple minutes war report.
So question is, where can I see when I will be attacked and can I command my troops while defending my city?

There should be a red bar that goes at the top of your screen telling you who is attacking and when the troops will arive. If it is a secret attack then the only place you will see it is the "actions" tab.

When being attacked and the enemy troops arive, go to your "actions" tab and hit the "command" button on the red square (the red square will also show the enemys troops) and you will be able to command your troops againts the enemy.

you can go to actions and click command from there, to command your troops click on the troop type and choose what you wish to do with that troop and whho you want it to target

Tnx for replay; but I didn't have any red bar with info, and there wasn't anything in my Actions menu beside my two hunting actions. I did had some army in my town (I left couple of infantry just for fun). Later on I just got war report witch did say that attacker call back his troops, but after turn 1 in battle...
Well, maybe I have missed those notifications; I'll see next time. This guy attacks me regularly, and regularly looses At least I get free prestige points

Best way to keep people from attacking you is to make a point!! PorT a city beside them and attack like crazy then porT away xD
