Re: If a pro moves beside you.
Why does everyone always assume the worst in these situations?
So someone moved their city next to yours? Big deal! Has he attacked you yet? Have you triedsendong him a letter welcoming him to your neighborhood? (high ranking players have feelings, too!)
What makes you so sure that you're the reason he moved there? Maybe he wanted a nice fort spot and your in it, so he wanted the extra protection your city will provide his flank. Maybe he wanted to hit someone else and the closest spot was next to your city.
Usually when a player like that moves his city, it is for a distinct purpose, such as killing troops someone left out. He doesn't get his prestige from farming people, he gets it from killing their troops!
Make sure you use your excess resources and always hunt your troops so as to not tempt him to visit you while he's in town. It's really not a big deal, and you shouldn't be worrying about it.....let alone entertaining the idea oF quitting!
Additionally, jut because he's stronger than you doesn't mean you can't play his game! If he's farming you, do some detective work. Find out where he lives, and what times he usually sleeps or is at work/school.....then farm him back. Take his oases. Make him sorry he messed with you, cuz guess what? He has A LOT more to lose than you do!
But my honest advice is get to know him. Everyone needs friends, even him, and if you play your cards right, you stand as much chance to come out of this with a new friend, as you do a new enemy.
