Article entry: "Haypi:Land of Diversity"
People of all kinds play Haypi. it is a place where age, gender, and other differences have no role. It does not matter who you are, Haypi is fun for everybody.
I recently took a poll on the Haypi forum and found these results:
Age:
Less than 18: 47%
18-30: 47%
30+: 7%
Gender:
Male: 90%
Female: 10%
Although these statistics do show a trend toward the stereotypical person you would imagine to be playing a game like Haypi, they do also show a significant degree of diversity among players. Also, these statistics are really only of forum users; from my own experience I have found the people who play the game to be much more diverse than the statistics show. For example, although only 10% of people polled were female, I have been in dominantly female world chats plenty of times on my server.
Another way players are diverse are their nationalities. I have chatted with American, Canadians, and Europeans all at the same time. This complete lack of boundaries between people from different places makes Haypi an even more interesting place to play and chat.
Haypi also relieves the pressure of social and economic classes. In world chat, everyone is equal, no matter how much money they have or what they do for a living or whether or not they went to college. Nobody cares about those things; everybody justs wants to get along.
