The War

Once there was a war so great, that mountains shook in fear;
The biggest toughest strongest men where armed from knee to ear;
The powers of two nations, and everything they held dear;
Was locked in these battles' fate, which would be quite a show;
The test of endurance and skills, and the trumpet rang out GO;
Soon two armies flooded in, with men and horses galore;
Archers and catapults found their marks and body's fell and soon fell more and more;
The terribly gory seen lacked the normal happy lore;

Yes I was a solider in a digital game;
I took 40 seconds to make;
But soon I joined my comrades, dying on the ground;
Countless men I'd fought beside, crudley tossed around;

When the battles end had finally came;
Ten thousand men lay dead;
I was amongst the few of the men our general could heal;
I will never forget that day, my digital life seemed so real;
