Haypi Adventure Prologue by Moonite

As I drift among the quiet sea on what’s left but a parchment of our sub, the surface of the ocean reflects the night sky covered with beautiful stars. Such nights would be better appreciated if not for the rubbles and remains floating around me. Every now and then after many attempts of searching, I find myself alone again. The pieces departs but every once in a while I can still see those pieces floating ahead and soon disappear. The night frightens me as I see these titanic mythical sea creatures drift under the pieces and suddenly the world seems insignificant. Treasures of the seabed seem no longer important until I found the cursed photograph that started it all.

Events happen rapidly since the telling of a recently demoted officer told down the local pub. The miserable drunkard with a devious smile glares the silent room as he shares his story to those with open ears. He is angered by the betrayal of his superiors and wants to publicly spread the secrets learnt by a drifting captive.

The secrets, the captive exposed in order to ensure his survival but was eventually silenced by the government to keep that information forever kept…
The officer rambled on about the mysterious 8 relics hidden in the seabed located from Haypi island and is only accessible from the one of the ten ports there.

Hidden treasures in the seabed are no secret to anyone but the interested and wandering traders and scavengers listened on as he spoke of how the relics form a magical key to the future. The attention was immediately diverted and dismissed as nothing more than a false story from the now unemployed drunkard aiming for his 5 minutes of fame.

Angered by the crowd for not believing his words, he vowed to find evidence of these relics and was not seen again till a few days later. His body was soon found washed ashore and with it a photograph of one of the relics discovered by a boy before he too was captured. The matter has gone too big and the government could no longer keep it in secret.
News spread, many now set their eyes onto Haypi Island for 1 of the 10 ports to search the seabed knowing full well its potential dangers.

Some seeking riches, some seek to obtain its mysterious powers, some seek bragging rights and all many other reasons.
Our crew seeks the thrill of the search and adventure and thus we begin again and again…
Now with this photograph in hand, ambitions reignited with the solid evidence of it's existance; I use what strength I have left to head back to my port for a new search so the losses would not be in vain.
