Haypi Adventure Prologue. #2

First one was pretty much a rush job. After much inspirations from the other stories, here is my second attempt.

Heavy rain and total darkness, you find yourself on your knees, blindfolded with an old shade of what used to be a white cloth that you remember not long ago was part of your brother’s towel. As you can feel the cold sweat running down your face. “BANG!” there is a gunshot and your hearing impairs for a good minute. Suddenly you realised how close to death you are. Your mind becomes blank and hearts racing at a phenomenal rate. The total realisation of death… still so much to do, so much to see, still too much to be explored.

“David! JUST PLEASE TELL THEM WHAT YOU KNOW!” a distant familiar voice. Heavy breathing and quiet screams as you heard your brother’s name being shouted. Suddenly you feel a small hard push against your head. It was the feeling of the tip of a loaded gun, only much heavier at the back of your head.

“NO, No.. No please.. Take the relic… please spare my brother….I’ll tell you everything…” A familiar voice, it was David. His voice trembles as he stutters and manages to scream. He did not sound like the usual proud and brave man that he was, the fear of your death has gotten to him.

Suddenly you feel the gun away from your head, you’re unaware of what’s happening or what is going on.

“Tell us everything you know about the remaining relics or you’ll all die on this ship” a strange voice. One you have not heard before but the dialect is that from the north.

“There.. there are 8 relics in total… each a priceless teasure…. it was passed down from our grandfather to us… we’re uniting them to form a key… that is said to open the future…” said David, as he pants heavily…

“Where is the remaining one! There is only 7 on your ship!” demanded the intruders.

“We.. don’t know..we’ve been searching for years to unite them..” Said David

The intruder angers, pointing the gun back to your head

“You’re Lying!!” Shouted the intruder.

“NO… PLEASE… we really don’t know… but please spare my brother…. He has a submarine and is also a really good engineer, give him the right resources and he’ll be able to upgrade it to search the deepest of the sea beds… he will be able to help you find the last one… please…spare his life… I assure you, we’re not hiding anything..”

Suddenly the ship starts to shake uncontrollably pushing everyone over to the portside. Your blind fold falls down you neck as your hands are still tied. You see a huge wave coming as the dark and gloomy merciless rain continues to fall. The little ship will not be able to overcome this gigantic wave, you look for your brother to see him heavily beaten and almost unrecognisable if not for the jacket he was wearing. He was laying there cold as you start to notice the intruder laying near him with a mask, he too had been knocked out during the last heavy push. Your attention turns back to look ahead as the almighty wave of the ocean overcame the ship like a gigantic hand over a tiny ant.

Slience…...

Your awaken by a bright shining light.. the sun is finally out. . You notice your hands are free as you use them to shield against the bright rays. Looking around, you see rubbles of what remains of the wreckage slowly drifting apart and a big ship heading your way. It was a navy ship and you’ve been noticed. The captain on board was a friendly old man who asked for everything that has happened.

Days went on and no other survivors were found, the relics were also gone.. The only memory of that night was the shade of white cloth around your neck from the incident. Suddenly you remember your brother’s goal, your grandfather’s dream of uniting the relics. You begin to show your potential as weeks goes on the big navy ship. The Captain is impressed and after hearing your goals has offered his aide. He gives you a map of 10 nearby ports and explains the advantages and disadvantages of each and has even given you a small ship and a small submarine to start over.

Here is Where Haypi Adventure Begins…
