Haypi adventure prologue comp entry

One day, not to far in the past to now, the King of the land and his family set sail with a fleet of ships to find a new land in which to settle. They were sailing with the kings treasures in the brig of one ship and the King with his family on another. All of a sudden a group of pirate ships started to attack the Kings fleet. The fleet was able to hold of the Pirates long enough for the King and his family to escape, unfortunately the Pirates were too strong for the fleet and sank all the ships including the ship with the treasures.

The King has summoned you to recover his treasures from the sea whilst trading with his new colony so that both them and you can develop and improve sea exploration and travel so that you can retrieve the treasures before the pirates.

i like it but the implication is that all the treasures are near the same spot so there is not really the need for sailing around to find each on as once youve found one treasure the rest should all be right there?

correct me if im wrong its just how it seems to me

By tidal processes they would be spread out naturally (on a geography point of view) also (on a phyics point of view) each treasure would have a different mass and surface area so some would sink faster than others, allowing them to spread out whilst sinking. With the two actions put together the treasure would be spread out. (in the real world (i study physics, chemistry and geography lol)).

But if the Haypi guys choose my entry they could change it and say the treasure was on separate ships. (on the theory that it would sink straight down and not move.)
