My Haypi prologue

Once there was a merchant who just so happened to be the richest man in the world of Haypi. He owned literally millions of submarines and trading vessels. All day he would sit at his desk and devise new plans for conning other nartions out of their riches. Then he sent his ships to his new target and his cunning captains would quickly swindle the unsuspecting port out of everything they had. Every day the gods looked down and watched as this evil merchant grew fat on the riches of others. They soon decided that they had to do something or the whole world was going to suffer. It just happened that the merchant had recently swindled 8 magnifisent treasures out of the prophets of the gods. The gods, in revenge sunk every single ship containing the 8 treasures. Now the merchants' clients have threatened to take his life unless he somehow retrieves the 8 treasures. The gods, however, decided to play with the merchant a little bit and offered 10 times the merchants riches to the one brave adventurer who could find all 8 of the treasures. Good luck adventurers.
