UniHiGuy Competition Entry #3

Since #2 was really bad, I dcided to make a third. Here goes:

At the start of time, mankind was one. Working together. Living together. A family. However, after several melinnia, there was a schism, and the family that was mankind seperated into eight. Each of the eight new tribes held one of eight mysterious golden treasures, the treasures that casued the schism. For when all eight treasures were held in the hands of the same person, that person would gain entry through the door of the future. For years and years the eight tribes lived there seperate ways, and eventually the treasures became lost and forgotten. As the ocean levels rose, all eight treasures were lost somewhere in its dark and perilous water. However, in the 1500s, a man known as Blackbeard learned about these treasures, and decided to search for them himself. Hover the next century, many others like Blackbeard would come, trying to find the eight relics. But none did. In the summer of 1675, a child just turning fifteen was given a trading boat to continue his/her family trade. On his/her first night a sea, a storm came and blew the boat into a cavern. In the middle of the cavern was a might submarine, along with this note:
To whomever finds this:

There is not peace in the world. It may seem to you, although I do not know this for sure, that the world is at peace. But it is not. And it may never be. For, I, you see, have failed. I was given this device, a submarine, to find the eight lost relics at the bottom of the sea. But i could not. War and strife is everywhere, and it will not end until all eight relics are found. Find them, and complete what I started.

Blackbeard

He/she then knew that it was his/her destiny to find the relics and succeed where Blackbeard had failed.
