Day 1: I sat down to play this evening and saw a war report in my mail saying that railro attacked my main city. He stole many resources, although he lost many troops since i had a decent wall defense and he did not steal any prestige since I was smart enough to send all my troops hunting. I immediately looked him up on the map, which took a while because the dumb spell check kept wanting to turn railro into railroad. He was title level 5, just like me. So I did what any decent Haypi player would do. I sent him a letter full of mad looking emoticons and started building up my army, which I formerly had not paid much attention to. Thus started the war between myself and railro.
Day 2: Yesterday after the attack I contemplated asking my alliance Darkfire for help, but decided against it in fear of sounding scared of railro. Today though, I decided to send a letter, but instead of asking for help, I would simply state that railro attacked me and say that if anyone had a chance they could attack him back for me while i amassed an army. During the course of today I leveled up to level 6.
Day 3: Finally I trained enough troops to mount an attack confidently. I attacked his main city (while I was on the map I noticed that he had also leveled up to 6). I stole more resources than he had stolen from me ( he had a 5% cranny break and I had 15% plus he had more resources at the time of attack than I did) and even stole 14 prestige since he had a few troops in the city. He had good defenses and I lost many troops though.
Day 4: I took over a level 4 wood oasis of his. I gained no prestige though.
Day 5: I received a war report saying that railro had retaken the oasis. I only had a few minutes to play at the time so I found the oasis on the map and attacked it again. As I found out later, though, I had made a big mistake. I had accidentally tapped on the level 6 oasis that belonged to a very powerful level nine player named la2. The oasis was 10 squares to the left of the one I wanted to attack. I realized this later in the day when I checked my Haypi and I had a letter from la2 that said that it was stupid to attack me and that they would farm me to death. My homescreen also said that I was going to be attacked by la2 with hundreds of each type of unit, way more than I could handle. I sent la2 a letter explaining the situatuion and la2 forgave me, called back the troops, and let me have the oasis!!!!! Some people are so nice....
Day 6: I retook the wood oasis (the right one this time) and a level 4 iron oasis owned by railro. Then he took both back. Then I took the iron oasis back.
To be continued as the battle between myself and railro progresses.......
