Not just a Group! (Haypi Article Competition)

Haypi Article Competition!
April 26 2011

My Story: RO-5ELiTE
To begin I want to say that I am not much of a writer after all I hate writing.  But I thought for once I might have a chance to win something if I participate in a Haypi Kingdom forum competition.  What I mean is that ever since I joined Haypi Kingdom I have not made it to one PVP competition (I know that is sad right).  Sometimes I think they (they = haypi Kingdom creators/designers) need to make a PVP for instead of saying that, "100 or above of achievement points needed to join but have it say, "100 or below achievement points needed to join."   Thus I may be able to join one of those competitions and have a shot at it.  Until the day that I may join a PVP competition I am signing my self up for one of these Haypi Article Competition!

Title: Not just a Group
My Article: RO-5ELiTE
Beginning
- My adventure began on server 13 when the server had just began and not many members on it.  At the beginning, like lvls 1-5 I was like whatever and I had an I don't care attitude.  I was not active at all just to get on once in a while to see if anything new was going on.  To get my total attention to this game there was a spark that made me look at this game in an entire new perspective.  That spark taught me and showed me how to really enjoy this app.

The Spark
- The spark I am talking about is joining a group of people who actually new what they were doing.  That group was not just a regular group it was an alliance full of experienced players.  When I finally reached lvls 6-10 I joined my first alliance named Dairy Inc. Yes I know, might of been a dumb name but trust me it's not about the name of the alliance it's about what's inside.  Dairy Inc. Being my first alliance I was being led and instructed by a friend who was in the alliance before.  The alliance provided me with support of any kind like resources, treasures, battle support receiving crops and even support receiving high leveled forts.  The alliance also provided many strategies like how and when to attack, smart army building, easy ways to get prestige, how to always hunt your troops and many many more.

Dairy Inc.
- I progressed smoothly in the alliance and learned so much. The alliance made me want to play much more due to me being in a good position on the leader-boards.  The alliance is what got me there in the first place and if I had never joined the alliance I surly would not be where I am now.  As the alliance grew, I grew and at the peek of the alliance I was at lvl 11 now and was beginning to get fizzy lifting drink.  I thought that I had learned everything now and I could now handle the Haypi world alone but I was wrong.

Mistakes
- The start of my mistakes began by me talking smack talk to my leader in the alliance Dairy Inc.  I am not sure why he did not just kick me off the alliance, but it might of been because he thought I needed a second chance.  Later then I made the biggest mistake ever, I quit the alliance Dairy Inc.  At that moment I was thinking how I do not need such a small and weak alliance as Dairy Inc.  Thats when I sent many request to join the alliance ancients.  All my requests were rejected due to my low lvl of 12.  I was now on my own all full of selfishness and thinking I am the best at this game, I don't need an alliance, nothing can stand in front of me!

Down Hill I Go
- Being alone was not as easy as I thought.  To start of I lost all my forts retrieved for me by my alliance members in Dairy Inc.  Next I was being attacked frequently by random people.  Then what hit me the hardest was when I was gone, my army was starved out and was obliterated.  By the time I got back on to play again my total prestige lost was over 50k! (that was a lot for me at that time)  At this point I finally realized that I made a wrong choice to leave the great alliance of Dairy Inc.

Start Over
- I had this feeling of regret and of just quitting. But there was that memory of me in the alliance Dairy Inc. that made me want to continue playing.  That is when I began rebuilding and I never sent a request to join the alliance Dairy Inc. again thinking I would not be accepted due to my total rebellion.  I thought that I had to move on thus I continued to send requests to join the alliance ancients but was still rejected due to my low lvl of 13.  Starting over was difficult especially with the new update that had recently come out (combining servers).  I began by moving my cities to a secure with plenty of crop around location.  From there I began working on my army because I needed troops in order to retrieve forts and crop.  By the time I was finished I had took revenge upon my enemies and took enough prestige to a new beginning.

Today
- The time has come of my peace and safety.  When most of my enemies left me alone, when I was beginning to help others out and when I no longer made foolish decisions that cost me prestige.  Last but not least, recently after many failed attempts to join the alliance ancients I was finally accepted being lvl 15.  Now in this alliance I promise to never ever make the same mistakes I had made before!
I want to tell those out there who have not joined an alliance yet that, "An alliance is not just a group of people who come together and think they are all cool so...
(Moral) ...Don't wait, don't think you are to good or not good enough to send a request to join an alliance, to learn and progress for a brighter future!
