Malware alert?

I was just contacted by my internet provider informing me that I have been compromised. When I called and spoke with the tech dept they linked the issue back to this game. They said there was an issue with this app pertaining to a ghost virus and told me to delete the game and change my itunes and cloud passwords. I am just wondering what kind of clarification you are able to provide on why this issue might have occurred?

Those are famous last words for all kinds of stuff...lol

Was kind of hoping for some kind of explanation as to why this app would have triggered this response from my provider? "Trust us" isn't really a ringing endorsement. There are too many examples out there where those words have resulted in terrible outcomes.
