Suggestion: I think the alliance should help promote the game by making new players feel welcome and also keep the high level veteran player stay active by providing new rewards that they can look forward to.
1) To make new player feel welcome.
Many mmorpg have alliance or something similar to it, but often new players will end up in lousy alliance who don't help them as the high level alliance only recruit high level players as they don't see how the new players can be beneficial to alliance. Therefore if the alliance have daily floor based quests that can only be done by players at that specific floor I think it will make alliance more willing to take in new players as the rewards for completing these quest will be given to EVERYONE in the alliance. Eg Floor 1 quest can only be done by player at floor 1, those who have climb to floor 2 and above wouldn't be able to do it, and the same rule apply to floor 2 quest and so on.
Alliance ranking could also be another reason why top alliance do not want to take in new players as new players will bring down the ranking of the alliance as the ranking is normally calculated by total power/level and alliance gain reward base on this ranking. So if the ranking can also be break down to each floor, can the top alliance at each floor will gain a weekly reward then I think alliance will be more recruit more new players and the new players will feel more welcome to the game as they have high level player to help them if they are stuck in the game.
2) Keep the high level veteran player stay active
One of the main reason veteran players quit a game after spending so much time is often because the game become too dry/boring or the leader of their alliance suddenly quit the game without passing the leadership position to another active player thus the alliance. So it will be good if the alliance have an automatic demoting and promoting system when the leader hasn't log in for a number of day he will get demoted, the next more active and respectable player in the alliance will be promoted to the leader position. Eg In an alliance there can be states issued to the player, Leader > vice leaders > elites > veteran > advance > members. So if the leader have not log in for 10 days in a roll, he will be demoted to elites. Then the more active vice leader will be promote to leader. If all the vice leaders are inactive then the more active elites will be promoted to leader. By doing so it will have to keep the alliance stay functional for all the active players who are still in the alliance after the leader suddenly quit the game.
The alliance can also have quest that give alliance token as reward. The player can use 10 tokens to trade for 1 items from the alliance shop. The catch is the item in the shop will change every 1 hour into another item randomly. So player who want to get a specified item, then they must stay active and check the shop regularly. For PTP player they can use coins to refresh the item in shop or they can use cash to buy alliance token and go to the alliance black market to buy any item they need. The alliance black market have all the items in the game BUT they are super expensive, in normal alliance shop items are sold at 10 token for each item even if it is a rare/epic item but at the black market item price is base on its rarity, ranging from 10 token for common item to 300 token for epic item.
The alliance can also have alliance safari where by player can go in and catch all the monster that they will randomly encounter inside. Player can encounter ALL the monsters in the game thus they can even catch legendary monster in the safari. However player can only use safari seal card in the safari when they want to catch monster in there. Players can trade alliance token for the safari seal card.
High level players can also set one of their monster as their roaming monster. When the player is offline their roaming monster can be rent by other player in the alliance to aid them in there dungeon quest. Not only will the roaming monster will gain exp from the dungeon its owner will also earn money from the rent, while the low level player can get though the dungeon with just a small fee.
