Trick to log in

psy discovered a trick to log in and it works for me. Turn off wifi on phone or iPad. Log into the game and minimize the game without closing it and turn back on your wifi. Do this through the setting on your phone. I am able to play as normal now. It still pauses at 80 percent when logging on without wifi but did make it all the way for me.

Not working . Off wifi , Log in, minimise game, go to setting then on wifi , back to game. 80% stuck. Then check connectivity.

Support has also suggested that you delete and then reinstall the app
And said that they won't fix it until the next update which is going to be quite sometime I would think. Looks like the lost tower is going to lose a lot of players.

I agree. It has been taken lightly this issue. Unfortunately, like said the next update. Delete the game, reinstall and try logging in 10-20 times. if it doesn't work repeat. for those who are using a mobile device with a network, turn off wifi, login, turn on wifi. fix this issue haypi!
