Epic Cave First Seal Bug

So I got to sealed space expert -15 to finally catch the Neo and it is a common and proven fact that your first epic in cave will be caught with the first seal card. This was not the case for me. I used one seal card at the beginning and failed then got him to 2% and used up another 40 seal cards and still failed. I contacted support before and they said this was not a feature of the game, which is false. If you asked players on world chat or looked at forums you would see that they all got their first cave epic essentially free with only one seal card. Why this is happening only for me though I do not know since I have not caught an epic in a cave ever before and not even a legendary that you encounter randomly.

exact same thing happened to me. I had never visited any caves; decided to get neo (now that patta was easier to obtain bc patch); and, no dice. similarly, i first threw a card; and, when that failed, then threw ~30 cards after whittling its health down to 1hp. needless to say, pretty disappointing, esp. given that i had been saving my 1st visit for roughly a month.

of note, i did catch a devil during the xmas double appearance event. before anyone suggests I be thankful and not complain, i'd mention that I straight up worked for that devil... i was trapped...visiting relatives (i know, i know: the horror).

it would be nice to hear back from some voice of authority on the matter. preferably, they would heap condolences and libations upon us (read as: gold , monsters, and more gold); but, i suppose a simple 'refund' would do.

Haypi has released a statement already saying that that was a rumor. You're not getting gold out of them. Try again next scam!

TimTim, cussing is just embarrassing, please stop. Having to cuss instead of being mature and ignoring him or responding with eloquence just frowns negatively on you, not him. Not saying what he said was appropriate, but cussing will just make you look like an 8 year old with a baseball bat.
Secondly, the more coins comment was aimed at Ansatz, not you. Lastly, it stinks, I agree. Like I said, I missed out on it too. Something tells me that it was just a ploy to get more people to play, the people that started in the first week got it or something like that. Move on, get some seal cards, and catch more, I've caught 2 with 250 seal cards, not good odds, but better 2 than 0. Good luck dude!
