Relay move not working

I used relay on my clawpard after him magic def increased to swap with my rhor but the increased stats didn't transfer over to rhor

Your rhor's stats increased, just because the system didn't show. But power of Darkness effects cannot be passed.

I have an entire relay team and It does work and it works very well at that. If you use the relay, switch mobs, then switch back to the relayed mob you'll see the stat change. Not sure why but it won't show at first.
