Shards and crystals

In late game shards and crystals lose their value, used only for the small monetary gain and the daily quest. I propose that they should make it so the 10 shards can be fused into a crystal, and 50 crystals could be fused into a rune gems of the same color. Thats my idea any thoughts?

It's been suggested before. Most players would like to see this but I don't think Haypi will ever implement it for some reason.
